Hunger for change

A customer-focussed approach and quality engineered projects across all industries sees British engineering firm Unilathe upbeat and poised for further expansion.

British manufacturing closed in 2017 with production expanding at the fastest pace for 14 months and new orders for investment goods such as plant and machinery at its highest level in over two decades.

It’s an encouraging, even bullish picture made up of numerous successes such as that of Unilathe, the £8 million turnover precision contract machining and fabrication company based in Stoke-on-Trent in the English West Midlands.

Andrew Sims, Managing Director said:

As well as a resurgence in investment demand, we are also experiencing increased demand from all other sectors. We believe we are entering and exciting stage of the manufacturing cycle and are confident we are well positioned to take advantage of such an opportunity.

Unilathe delivers an inclusive engineering service by directly micro-managing projects, supplying complete components and assemblies, and the subcontract machining of clients’ products or materials.

Our engineering staff and managers are highly experienced and have developed the capability to machine complex comoponents over range of materials, including exotics and sizes.

Stated Mr Sims.
